Spend the Holidays like a Local

December 5th, 2017 News

It’s the holidays and a number of local events are on the calendar to help celebrate the season. We’re going for the unexpected this year with a few holiday picks that will be sure to add some flair to your holiday spirit. From ugly sweater parties to cinematic classics, there’s a little something for everyone:

St. Pete Ugly Sweater Crawl at Albert Witted Park – Grab the ugly holiday sweater you have been holding onto all-year long and head to the area’s most festive food truck rally. A line of live music, collection of gourmet food trucks, and a visit by the jolly old man himself take this celebration to the next level. It’s all going down on December 15th from 6 – 10 p.m. Ugly sweater required.

Outdoor Christmas Movie Series – This festive outdoor Christmas movie series at Williams Park will start on December 16th at 5 p.m. with a showing of the classic, Home Alone. Bring a blanket and get in on holiday music, trivia, a collection of vendors and of course, holiday swag.

Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer Musical – If you missed the annual showing of the original 1964 classic, don’t worry! A spirited musical performance brings a new energy to the classic songs and storyline. And, the iconic puppets make an appearance to give the audience a splash of charm and a nod to the original’s stop-motion efforts. Go for the matinee at 3 p.m. or at 7:30 p.m.
