Billy Abrunzo kicks off the weekend Friday and on Saturday we got music all day begining with Jason Longoria and making his inaugural PCI appearance, Nick Nekobski. Josh Magwood Band brings it back Sunday.

Bucs Kick-off Party w/ Mix Master Mike

Presented by Miller Lite, Jannus is pitching the official Bucs’ Season Kick-off party.  Expect to see not only fans, but Buccaneers players and coaches as well, including  Coach Raheem Morris. A Q & A is scheduled on stage, along with a special autograph session, before live perforomances by the Paper Tongues and legendary Beastie Boys DJ,  Mix Master Mike. My Hope Chest Benefit & Fundraiser

Sierra Club’s National Day of Service Beach Cleanup

Honor and remember those who have served America by cleaning up Ft. DeSoto County Park’s North Beach, and planting 10,000 sea oats, which serve as a nursery for birds and other Gulf wildlife. Cleanup starting at 9a.m.

Labor Day Weekend

College football is back!

Friday night we welcome the the Cope Brothers Band. Local recording artist and one of the area’s top singers, Amber Lynn Nicol performs Saturday from 1:30 to 5:30 and Jason Longoria rounds out the night, playing 6-10. Sunday is the Labor Day Weekend Beach Bar Party with DJ ICH from Certified DJ Fresh promotions and we’ll be featuring specials such as $4 Golden Margaritas, $13 buckets and $3 Cold Ass Beers

14th Annual Night of the Iguana

The Make-A-Wish Foundation of Central and Northern Florida, Suncoast Region, is hosting its 14th annual food and beverage sampling event, Night of the Iguana, on Friday, October 8 from 6:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. at the new Mainsail Suites Hotel & Conference Center in Tampa.

More than 20 of Tampa Bay’s elite restaurants will showcase signature dishes for guests to enjoy.  The Tampa Chapter of Credit Unions, Tiffany & Co., Maggiano’s, Brio Tuscan Grille, Wildwood BBQ & Burger / Postcard Inn, AquaKnox, Donatello, Ruth’s Chris, The Melting Pot, The NoHo Bistro, Pepin Distributing, Shakers Vodka, and the Green Iguana in Ybor City are among those partnering with Make-A-Wish in support of the event’s mission—to raise funds for more than 10 wishes in the Suncoast region.
