Thurday night some of the Postcard staff went up to Channelside to participate in the 2010 Bowling for Dreams charity tournament at Splitsville. Proceeds went to the Children’s Dream Fund and though there’s no word yet on how we fared, they sure seemed to be having fun.

Voodoo Ball Downtown Bar Crawl

This Saturday at Ferg’s (1320 Central Ave) is a Hold ‘em tournament for clean water thrown by the Suncoast Surfrider Foundation. First place is a weekend for two at Postcard Inn- the premier St Pete Beach Hotel for surfers- with other prizes for the first 8 slots to be announced (gift certificates, vacation packages, etc.). Proceeds will go directly to Suncoast Chapter Surfrider Foundation who are then donating 50% to a charitable organization helping oiled animals and the other 50% towards water testing kits and other chapter needs.
